Network models and dynamical systems in psychological research have gained increasing popularity and recognition, especially for their application to mental disorders. It can be difficult to keep track of the newest advancements in the fields: not only do numerous labgroups all over the world now use network models to analyze their data, there is also a growing number of R-packages and other software that can be used, and work on network theory has been growing as well.
This website thus has the following goals:
- To provide regular updates for both applied researchers and methodologists regarding papers, preprints, statistical software, conferences, positions, and other things worth knowing for psychological research on network models, dynamical systems, complex systems, time-series analyses, and causal discovery.
- To give researchers an introduction to network theory and network methodology via a compendium of state-of-the-art tutorials.
- To enable open discussions about network analysis, which currently mostly happens in email conversations. Please use this website as platform to discuss preprints or already published papers in the comments section: let’s try to tackle challenges together that the field is facing.
